The Village started with one water tower, one court and a group of players who wanted more than pickup runs. Twelve seasons later it's a full competitive league — structured schedules, officiated games, tracked stats — with the same rule it opened with: you carry yourself like a leader, or you don't take the floor.

How a season runs
